MITE Transport (Constrained POS) EAR99

MITE Transport is XO Defense's constrained-transport payment relay with on-device credential isolation. It provides a field-deployable point-of-transaction system that operates over the XO Defense transport matrix — satellite, SMS, acoustic, LoRa — without requiring internet connectivity. MITE Transport implements a PCI-out-of-scope architecture: payment credentials are isolated on the originating device and never transmitted through relay infrastructure in cleartext, eliminating PCI DSS compliance requirements at the transport and relay layers.

How XO Defense Addresses This

MITE Transport is the field-deployable payment interface for XO Defense's SatPay CP protocol. It handles the physical-layer aspects of point-of-sale transactions in constrained environments: credential capture, local encryption, envelope encoding, and transport relay. Combined with SatPay CP's encrypted transaction processing and Mustard Chain's tamper-evident ledger, MITE Transport enables complete financial transaction capability in environments with no internet, no cellular, and no traditional POS infrastructure. Use cases include field procurement in expeditionary operations, bounty payments in remote areas, and humanitarian aid distribution with auditable records.
