SatPay CP (Satellite Payment — Constrained Protocol) 5D002
SatPay CP is XO Defense's encrypted transaction processing protocol designed for constrained transports. It enables financial transactions — point-of-sale payments, supply chain settlements, bounty payments, field procurement — over satellite burst, SMS, and other bandwidth-limited channels. SatPay CP implements on-device credential isolation with an opaque relay architecture: no cleartext payment data exists in transit or at relay points. The protocol's PCI-out-of-scope design means that relay nodes (satellite ground stations, SMS gateways) never have access to payment credentials, eliminating the need for PCI DSS compliance at the transport layer.
How XO Defense Addresses This
SatPay CP is classified 5D002 due to its cryptographic credential isolation mechanism. It enables XO Defense to provide financial transaction capability in environments where no internet-connected POS infrastructure exists — offshore vessels, remote outposts, disaster zones, and expeditionary operations. The protocol uses Mustard Envelope encoding for transport and Mustard Chain for transaction integrity, creating a complete audit trail of all financial transactions that is tamper-evident and independently verifiable. MITE Transport provides the constrained POS interface for field-deployable transaction systems.
